The innocent laugh at it because they don’t need it, although they suffer because of its foolish groundlessness and iniquity.
The hypocrites put on it, they even invent it, because without power they would not know what name to give to their own void of meaning.

È la stessa cosa di cui gli ipocriti si fanno vanto, ma interpretata in modo opposto, il potere.
Gli innocenti ne ridono poiché non ne hanno bisogno, sebbene soffrano a causa della sua balorda infondatezza e iniquità.
Gli ipocriti se ne rivestono, lo inventano persino, poichè senza potere non saprebebro che nome dare al proprio vuoto di senso.
