There is a song of freedom that goes far beyond the knowable and the understandable, it is that song that in a mysterious way perceives a sense of freedom that goes beyond the words and gestures, terminologies and expressions used to explain it.
It is a freedom song that recognizes freedom as a right and the rights, but which also knows that before the sanctioned rights there is a greater freedom that no one can infringe and often not even understand.
There is a “liberty” understood as regulation of the rights enshrined in the law, but there is also “freedom” which is stronger even we often forget where it dwells and that it is the abode of being, of every being. This I sing: freedom.
Rights establish a regulation of individual and social freedom, and this is an important aspect; they organize the freedom of the individual, but also that of society which do not always coincide since often the individual tends above all to the good for himself. There must be a civil regulation of the rights of the individual towards society, but no person is truly free without imagining the same freedom for others as well.
The freedom of the person and that of society do not only meet, but intersect, cling to each other and vice versa so that that individual freedom song also has the voice of the community as well as the whole community knows and listens to the individual voice. .
Individual freedom continues in social freedom just as the freedom of society must continue in individual freedom by defeating selfishness.
The voice and the chorus (the subject of my next essay) work together in magnificent harmony.
I sing my freedom and in my song I listen to the voice and the voices of freedom.

C’è un canto di libertà che va ben oltre lo scibile e il comprensibile, è quel canto che in maniera misteriosa percepisce un senso di libertà che vada oltre le parole e i gesti, le terminologie e le espressioni usate per spiegarlo.
È un canto di libertà che riconosce la libertà di diritto e dei diritti, ma che sa anche che prima dei diritti sanciti esiste una libertà più grande che nessuno può infrangere e spesso neanche comprendere.
Esiste una “liberty” intesa come regolamentazione dei diritti sanciti dalla legge, ma più forte è quella “freedom” di cui spesso ci dimentichiamo che dimora ed è la dimora dell’essere, di ogni essere. Questa io canto: freedom.
I diritti stabiliscono una regolamentazione della libertà individuale e di quella sociale, ed è un aspetto importante; essi organizzano la libertà dell’individuo, ma anche quella della società che non sempre coincidono poiché spesso l’individuo tende soprattutto al bene per sé. È necessario che ci sia una regolamentazione civile dei diritti dell’individuo verso la società, ma nessuna persona è veramente libera senza immaginare la stessa libertà anche per gli altri.
La libertà della persona e quella della società non si incontrano soltanto, ma si intersecano, si avvinghiano l’una alle altre e viceversa affinché quel canto di libertà individuale abbia anche la voce della comunità così come l’intera comunità conosca e ascolti la voce individuale.
La libertà individuale prosegue nella libertà sociale così come la libertà della società deve proseguire nella libertà individuale sconfiggendone gli egoismi.
La voce e il coro (argomento del mio prossimo saggio) operano insieme in magnifica armonia.
