Today is just a day like every day. A day of struggle against prejudices and discriminations, a day in which to affirm one’s existence alongside each existing, not forward not backward, but alongside. It is not a special day, only a day in which to bring to awareness all the idlers of thought, men and women, who forget to value the human person and its struggle for the right to freedom and life.
Today is just a day to remind each and every one that the problems are not over, that, indeed, they are undergoing a violent resurgence. It is only a day to be faithful to the choice of giving value to equality and rights, to the awareness and conscience of the right to life as well as of the duty of responsibility.
Today is not but a different day to draw attention to an issue that, through ups and downs, is never fully resolved. Today is a day like every day in which the struggle for one is the struggle for all because the story of one is the story of everyone, a day in which to get up together, men and women, to redeem every innocent and profaned life from the void.
Today is just a day like every day, but it is a day, that day, in which to finally get up together and fight.

Oggi non che un giorno come ogni giorno. Un giorno di lotta contro i pregiudizi e le discriminazioni, un giorno in cui affermare il proprio esistere accanto a ogni esistere, non avanti non indietro, ma accanto. Non è un giorno speciale, solo un giorno in cui richiamare alla consapevolezza tutti i fannulloni del pensiero, uomini e donne, che dimenticano di dare valore alla persona umana e alla sua lotta per il diritto alla libertà e alla vita.
Oggi non è che un giorno per ricordare a tutti e a ciascuno che i problemi non sono finiti, che, anzi, subiscono una violenta recrudescenza. Non è che un giorno per essere fedeli alla scelta di dare valore all’uguaglianza e ai diritti, alla consapevolezza e alla coscienza del diritto alla vita come del dovere della responsabilità.
Oggi non è che un giorno diverso per attirare l’attenzione su un tema che, tra alti e bassi, non è mai pienamente risolto. Oggi è un giorno come ogni giorno in cui la lotta per una è la lotta per tutte perché la storia di una è la storia di tutti, un giorno in cui alzarsi insieme, uomini e donne, per riscattare dal vuoto ogni vita innocente e profanata.
Oggi non è che un giorno come ogni giorno, ma è un giorno, quel giorno, in cui alzarsi insieme, infine, e lottare.
