Each person is a memory that unfolds over time and beyond time, no matter if it is more or less important in your life, each person leaves its mark. Sometimes you find those signs, other times you would like not to find them, but they are there, they are part of you and of your history, denying them would mean denying yourself, distorting them would mean giving in to the sometimes understandable need to want to create a better memory for yourself. In reality, it cannot be, each memory is what it is and tells us of what it was, fiction and denial only postpone the problem of conscience and, perhaps, remove pain for an instant. Yet, the more pain is rejected, the more conscience is silenced, the more we become accomplices of both, renewing the very worst that has turned us upside down as if it were still present in the very moment in which, lost , we do not know or do not succeed or do not want to draw from time and experiences that lesson that can make us better and that can account for good and evil.

Ogni persona è una memoria che si dipana nel tempo e oltre il tempo, non importa se più o meno importante nella tua vita, ogni persona lascia il suo segno. Qualche volta ritrovi quei segni, altra vorresti non ritrovarli, ma ci sono, fanno parte di te e della tua storia, negare significherebbe negare te stesso, falsare significherebbe cedere al bisogno, qualche volta comprensibile, di voler creare per se stessi una memoria migliore. In realtà, non si può, ciascuna memoria è ciò che è e ci racconta di ciò che è stato, la finzione e la negazione rimandano solo il problema di coscienza e allontanano, forse, il dolore per un istante. Eppure, più si respinge il dolore, più si mette a tacere la coscienza, più diventiamo complici e dell’uno e dell’altra rinnovandone proprio quel peggio che ci ha messo a soqquadro come se fosse ancora presente nell’attimo stesso in cui, smarriti, non sappiamo o non riusciamo o non vogliamo trarre dal tempo e dalle esperienze quella lezione che può renderci migliori e che può rendere conto e giustizia del bene e del male.
