Il rasoio di Asimov di Nicola Fantini e Laura Pariani, è un racconto contenuto nell’antologia La scuola in giallo (Sellerio, 2014) che ha come ambientazione la scuola e tutto il mondo ad essa legato, appunto.
Nello specifico, Il rasoio di Asimov tratta di un tema di particolare attualità e che crea molto turbamento tra i ragazzi in età scolare: il cyberbullismo e le sette che chiedono prove sempre più complesse per dimostrare la propria appartenenza a un gruppo.
Il racconto scivola in maniera semplice e lineare, adatto, quindi a ragazzi a partire dalla scuola media, ma, con un buon mediatore, anche dalla scuola elementare.

La strategia del giallo non solo intriga il lettore nel tentativo di scoprire come si siano svolti i fatti, ma aiuta a parlare di temi, come il cyberbullismo, che tutti ritengono di facile comprensione, ma che sono, invece, di particolare e devastante intrigo e pericolo, soprattutto per gli adolescenti.

Una professoressa attenta, Mirella, capace di leggere i segnali di cambiamento preoccupanti nei suoi adolescenti, con l’aiuto di suo marito Beppe e quello di un suo amico, Arturo, riusciranno a indagare e, forse (ma questo si scoprirà solo leggendo) a sgominare un gruppo di bulli. Arriveranno in tempo?

Quello che conta è non voltare la faccia dall’altra parte e saper discernere i segnali di pericoli da quelli di una normale difficoltà di crescita adolescenziale. Creare una rete di osservazione, ascolto e aiuto attorno ai ragazzi può non solo preservarli e proteggerli, ma, soprattutto, aiutarli a comprendere e difendersi.
Suggerisco questo racconto e anche l’intera antologia come lettura da fare insieme ai propri adolescenti, figli o studenti che siano.

The story flows in a simple and linear way, suitable, therefore, for children starting from middle school, but, with a good mediator, even from elementary school. The strategy of the detective story not only intrigues the reader in an attempt to discover how the facts unfolded, but helps to talk about topics, such as cyberbullying, which everyone considers easy to understand, but which are, instead, of particular and devastating intrigue and danger, especially for teenagers. An attentive teacher, Mirella, able to read the worrying signs of change in her teenagers, with the help of her husband Beppe and that of a friend of hers, Arturo, will be able to investigate and, perhaps (but this will only be discovered by reading) to vanquishing a group of bullies. Will they arrive in time? What matters is not to turn your face away and to be able to discern the signs of danger from those of a normal adolescent growth difficulty. Creating a network of observation, listening and help around children can not only preserve and protect them, but, above all, help them understand and defend themselves. I suggest this story and also the entire anthology as a reading to do with your teenagers, children or students.
